SAMBURU, ABERDARE, NAKURU AND MAASAI MARA
DAY 1: NAIROBI - SAMBURU
Early morning departure and head to the northern circuirt to
arrive Samburu National Reserve in time for lunch. There will be a late
afternoon game drive to introduce you to this game abundant park that
has unique animal species like the Beisa Oryx, Grevy's zebra,
Reticulated giraffe, Gerenulk and blue-legged ostrich. Dinner and
overnight at a lodge.
DAY 2: SAMBURU
There will be two game viewing drives on this day to
explore this park and its unique wildlife. All meals and overnight will
be at the lodge.
DAY 3: ABERDARE
After breakfast, you drive to the Aberdares where you will
arrive in time for luch at a base hotel and afterwards be transferred by
a shuttle to the tree hotel in in Aberdare National Park . There is a
game viewing platform at the tree lodge. Dinner and overnight at the
lodge.
DAY 4: NAKURU
After breakfast, drive across the the Aberdare highlands and
ito the Great riftvalley to Lake Nakuru National Park . After lunch we
have a late afternoon Game drive in this park famous for the pink
flamingoes embedded on the lake. Dinner and overnight at a lodge.
DAY 5: MAASAI MARA
After breakfast depart for Maasai Mara Game Reserve now reknown
as as the seventh wonder of the world. After lunch, you have a chance to
relax or swim before setting out for a late afternoon Game drive.
DAY 6: MAASAI MARA
You will have a full day Game drive on this day with a chance
to spot Kenya 's big five and many other animals. The Mara also offers
the best opportunity to sight the blach rhino at close quarters. All
meals and overnight at a lodge or camp
DAY 7: NAIROBI
After breakfast, you will return to Nairobi to arrive in time
for lunch at the famous Carnivore restaurant or similar. The afternoon
will be at leisure as you prepare for your return flight.
6 NIGHTS, 7 DAYS AMBOSELI / TSAVO / MOMBASA
DAY 1: NAIROBI
Early morning departure to Amboseli National Park which is
located at the border of Kenya and Tanzania . As you drive to the lodge
you will see animals enroute. After lunch, you have a couple of hours to
relax or take a swim and there will be a late afternoon Game drive.
Amboseli is the best place to watch elephants against a backdrop of Mt.
Kilimanjaro .
DAY 2: AMBOSELI
There will be a morning and afternoon Game drive for a chance
to spot lions, leopards and other animals. All meals and overnight at
the lodge.
DAY 3: TSAVO
After breakfast, you drive through Amboseli Park to reach Tsavo
National Park in a couple of hours. You drive via the Shetani lava flow
in Tsavo West. You will have an afternoon Game drive. Dinner and
overnight at a lodge.
DAY 4: MOMBASA
There will be an option of a pre-breakfast Game drive or a
guided nature walk (The walk would be at an extra cost). After breakfast
you will drive to the Mzima springs - a spring of clear water, millions
of gallons a day, which has filtered down from the Chyulu hills through
volcanic soils.
There is an underwater observation chamber where Shoals of barbels with
other fish swim around the chamber, and in the morning, if you're lucky,
you may see a hippo swim past at close quarters.Afterward you will drive
to Mombasa with picnic lunch enroute. Arrival will be in the late
afternoon and you have some time to freshen up before dinner.
DAY 5: MOMBASA
Full day at leisure at the Coast
DAY 6: MOMBASA
Full day at leisure
DAY 7: MOMBASA
After breakfast you will check out and head to the airport for
your flight to Nairobi and later connect for the return flight home.
