Tsavo Safari Camp is midway between Nairobi
and Mombassa and 25 kilometres into the
Tsavo East National Park from Tsavo Inn, the
camp is a beautiful oasis set in dramatic
scenery along the banks of the Galani River.
The hotel is approached via a delightful
camp garden and lush plants

Accommodation is in comfortable river-facing
tents or cottages
Remarks
The camp has served for many decades as one
of the grand African "outback" experiences.
The game drives from the camp generally
follow a line between the river and the
impressive
Yatta Plateau, the second longest
river in the world. The wildlife here is shy
but plentiful. As the sun sets behind Mount
Kilimanjaro, one returns to camp for dinner
and the sounds of the African night. Later
one may relax by the camp fire reminiscing a
wonderful day. |
