Day 1

Entebbe - Kampala

Arrive at Entebbe Airport, where your guide will then transfer you to your hotel/ lodge. Spend your day at your own leisure.

Day 2

Kampala - Kibale Forest

After breakfast drive down to Kibale Forest. Take a nature walk around the lodge in the afternoon. During this walk, it is possible to see monkeys and birds. It is also possible to arrange a night walk (on request) through the forest to see the animals of the night, like bush babies (both activities are optional). Kibale Forest is a spectacular jungle, with 13 primate species; including chimps, baboons, black and white colobus, red colobus, grey-cheeked mangabey, and L'Hoest monkey.

Day 3

Kibale Forest

After breakfast at the lodge, choose to go chimpanzee tracking either in the morning or in the afternoon. After lunch take a walk in the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary (optional) this would be a perfect fit for those who are interested in primates and birds. It is also possible to visit the local people or the crater lakes.

Day 4

Kibale Forest - Queen Elizabeth National Park

After breakfast transfer to the Queen Elizabeth National Park. On the way, you will pass the equator where you can make a stop to enjoy the breathtaking views. Arrive at the lodge just in time for lunch, and then proceed for a game drive in the afternoon. Queen Elizabeth National Park is one of the best places in Uganda to see lions. Expect to see elephants, lions, many hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes, and maybe leopards.

Day 5

Queen Elizabeth National Park

Start your morning with a Game drive, and return to the lodge for breakfast. Enjoy a relaxing lunch at the lodge, from there your guide will take you to the Kazinga Channel for an afternoon boat trip. Kazinga Channel is known for the highest concentration of hippos in the world.

Day 6

Queen Elizabeth National Park - Ishasha

After breakfast drive through Queen Elizabeth National Park to the Ishasha sector in the South. Check-in at the lodge and have lunch and then proceed for a game drive in search of the tree
climbing lions. Ishasha is home to 4 prides of lions that climb the trees, as well as the rare Topis and other animals.

Day 7

Ishasha - Bwindi Impenetrable

Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable, passing through local villages and breathtaking views of the mountains. Bwindi Impenetrable is a unique jungle, with many monkey species. Bwindi is one of the
two places in the world where you can find Mountain Gorillas.

Day 8

Bwindi Impenetrable

Start with an early morning departure with your ranger in search of one of the world's most interesting and endangered animals, the Mountain Gorilla. Spend one hour with these magnificent
creatures, an experience you will never forget.

Day 9

Bwindi Impenetrable - Lake Mburo National Park

After breakfast drive to Lake Mburo National Park. You have an option of a Game drive or a boat trip on the lake in the afternoon. Lake Mburo is one of the 2 national parks with zebras and the only national park with impalas in Uganda. There are no elephants or lions, therefore walking safaris are possible.

Day 10

Lake Mburo National Park - Entebbe

After breakfast, you can choose to go for a game drive or walk in the morning. Check out of the lodge and make your way back to Entebbe, with a brief stopover at the Equator for photos. Transfer to the airport for your departure.
